Lori Agins – Brown Belt & Instructor

Lori Agins has been involved in martial arts for over 20 years. Her journey began in Arizona with kickboxing, eventually evolving into MMA and then Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu—her true passion. After relocating to Texas, she found her home with the Gracie Humaita family, where her skills and dedication flourished.

In 2021, as a blue belt, Lori competed at the world’s largest Jiu-Jitsu tournament in Las Vegas, Nevada, and earned the title of IBJJF Masters World Champion. She returned in 2023 and repeated the feat as a purple belt. In recognition of her continued excellence, Lori was promoted to brown belt in September 2023.

Lori is deeply passionate about teaching and helping others grow through Jiu-Jitsu. Her energy, empathy, and experience make her a valued mentor on the mats.

Outside the gym, Lori enjoys life on the farm with her husband of 22 years, Joe, and their son, Caden. When she’s not training or coaching, she competes in stock horse pleasure shows and embraces the challenges of farm life with the same discipline and drive she brings to martial arts.
